Corridor Safety Mobile Application — Privacy & Data Terms

These Mobile Application Data Terms (“Terms”) govern the collection, use, protection, and ownership of data collected through the Corridor Safety mobile application (“Application”). By installing and using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Types of Data Collected

In order to meet Google Play’s requirement that privacy policies explicitly enumerate the categories of personal data collected, Corridor Safety discloses that the Application may collect the following categories of information: precise real-time location data; device identifiers, including but not limited to device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers; account registration information, including full name and email address; usage and diagnostic data, including crash logs, application performance data, and feature interaction data; and, where applicable, information about the organization on whose behalf the Application is accessed. This enumeration is intended to provide users with a clear and complete understanding of the scope of data collection associated with their use of the Application.

Data Retention

Corridor Safety retains personal data, including location data, only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as described in these Terms, or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law. Location data collected during active use of the Application is retained solely for the duration necessary to support the relevant safety operation or incident for which it was generated. Account and registration information is retained for the duration of the user’s active account and for a reasonable period thereafter, not to exceed one (1) year following account termination, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Upon the expiration of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with industry-standard data destruction practices.

Third-Party Sharing and Disclosure

In addition to the subprocessors identified in the Artificial Intelligence and Customer-Specific Models section of these Terms, Corridor Safety may share personal data with third-party service providers engaged to support the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Application, including cloud infrastructure providers, analytics platforms, and customer support tools. All such third-party service providers are contractually obligated to process personal data solely in accordance with Corridor Safety’s instructions and in a manner consistent with these Terms. Corridor Safety does not sell, rent, or otherwise commercially exploit personal data to or for the benefit of any third party.

Security Incident Notification

In the event of a data breach or security incident that affects your personal data and is reasonably likely to result in a risk to your rights or freedoms, Corridor Safety shall notify affected users without undue delay and in accordance with applicable legal notification requirements. Such notification shall be provided via the email address associated with your account and shall include, to the extent known at the time of notification, a description of the nature of the incident, the categories of data affected, the likely consequences of the incident, and the measures taken or proposed to be taken by Corridor Safety to address the incident.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction of residence, you may be entitled to certain rights with respect to your personal data under applicable data protection law, including the right to access the personal data Corridor Safety holds about you; the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data; the right to request restriction of processing of your personal data in certain circumstances; the right to data portability, where technically feasible; and the right to lodge a complaint with the applicable supervisory or data protection authority in your jurisdiction. To exercise any of the foregoing rights, please submit a written request to Corridor Safety at support@corridorsafety.com. Corridor Safety shall respond to all such requests within the timeframe required by applicable law and in no event later than thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of a verified request.

Children’s Privacy

The Application is not directed toward, and is not intended for use by, minors as defined by the applicable laws and regulations of the user’s jurisdiction of residence. The minimum age required to use the Application is determined by and subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which the user is located. Corridor Safety does not knowingly collect personal data from any individual who does not meet the minimum age requirement established by applicable law in their respective jurisdiction. If Corridor Safety becomes aware that personal data has been collected from a minor without the requisite parental or guardian consent, such data shall be promptly deleted in accordance with applicable legal requirements. If you believe that a minor has provided personal data through the Application without appropriate parental or guardian consent, please contact Corridor Safety immediately at support@corridorsafety.com.

Data Protection

Corridor Safety implements and maintains technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all data collected through the Application. These measures are continuously reviewed and updated to reflect industry standards and the evolving nature of security threats.

Location Data Collection & User Consent

The Application collects real-time location data to enable its core public safety features, including emergency response coordination, smart evacuation guidance, and incident management. Location data is among the most sensitive categories of information the Application collects, and its collection is governed by the following conditions.

Location data will only be collected upon your explicit grant of permission during the Application’s onboarding process. Before any location information is collected or transmitted, you will be clearly and prominently prompted to authorize location access. The Application will not collect, store, or transmit location data of any kind without this prior authorization.

You retain full control over location data collection at all times. You may withdraw your consent and disable location tracking at any time through the Settings menu of your phone or Mobile Application. Disabling location access may limit or prevent the functionality of certain safety-critical features. Corridor Safety does not collect location data passively or in the background without your knowledge; all collection is strictly tied to your granted permissions.

Data Ownership

As between Corridor Safety and the user or the organization (“Customer”) on whose behalf the Application is deployed, the Customer retains all right, title, and interest — including applicable intellectual property rights — in and to the data they provide through the Application (“Customer Data”). Corridor Safety’s access to Customer Data does not confer ownership of that data to Corridor Safety.

Corridor Safety retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Application, its underlying technology, and aggregated, anonymized usage data derived from the operation of the Application (“Usage Data”). Procurement or use of the Application does not transfer ownership of Corridor Safety’s technology or intellectual property to the Customer or end user.

Data Deletion and User Rights

Corridor Safety recognizes and respects your right to request the deletion of your personal data, including location data, account information, and any other personally identifiable information collected through the Application. In compliance with applicable data protection laws and platform requirements, Corridor Safety has established a formal written data deletion process through which all such requests must be submitted.

To submit a data deletion request, you must do so by submitting a written request to Corridor Safety via email at support@corridorsafety.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request,” or through the official support channels available on the Corridor Safety website. All data deletion requests must include sufficient information to verify your identity, including your full name, registered email address, and, where applicable, the name of the organization on whose behalf the Application was accessed. This verification requirement exists solely to ensure that personal data is not deleted as a result of an unauthorized or fraudulent request.

Upon receipt of a verified and complete written data deletion request, Corridor Safety shall acknowledge receipt of such request within five (5) business days and shall process and fulfill the request within thirty (30) days of such acknowledgment, unless a longer period is required or permitted by applicable law. You will receive written confirmation at the email address provided in your request upon completion of the deletion of your data.

Please be advised that certain data may be retained beyond the thirty (30) day period where Corridor Safety is required or permitted by applicable law to do so, including but not limited to data subject to an active legal hold, regulatory obligation, audit requirement, or ongoing legal dispute. In such cases, Corridor Safety shall retain only the minimum data necessary to satisfy such legal obligations and shall delete such data promptly upon the expiration of the applicable retention requirement.

Please further note that the deletion of your personal data may result in the partial or complete termination of your access to the Application or certain features thereof, as the provision of certain services is contingent upon the processing of such data. Corridor Safety shall bear no liability for any loss of access, functionality, or service availability resulting from a user-initiated data deletion request submitted in accordance with these Terms.

How Your Data Is Used

By using the Application, the Customer grants Corridor Safety a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, and non-transferable right to collect, process, and use Customer Data for the following purposes: to provide, operate, develop, and improve the Application and its services; to comply with applicable laws and regulations; to enforce these Terms and Corridor Safety’s policies; and to prevent, investigate, or address security incidents, technical issues, fraud, cyberattacks, or other unauthorized or unlawful activity.

Corridor Safety may also collect and analyze Usage Data during and after the period of use to support the ongoing development, operation, and improvement of the Application and related services. Usage Data may additionally be used to generate industry benchmarks, best practice guidance, or similar operational insights, provided that such outputs do not identify or expose any individual’s or organization’s specific data.

Artificial Intelligence and Customer-Specific Models

Corridor Safety may use Customer Data to develop and train customer-specific artificial intelligence models that enhance and personalize the Application’s services for that Customer. These models are strictly isolated on a per-customer basis and will not output one customer’s data to any other customer or third party under any circumstances.

While Corridor Safety engages certain subprocessors — including technology providers such as OpenAI, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services — to help enable AI functionality within the Application, Corridor Safety does not permit any subprocessor to use Customer Data or Sensitive Personal Data to train, improve, or develop their own foundational AI models. Corridor Safety remains responsible for ensuring that subprocessors adhere to data protection standards consistent with these Terms.

Compliance, Legal Obligations, and Protection

Corridor Safety may use Customer Data and Sensitive Personal Data to comply with applicable laws, lawful governmental requests, and legal process, including responding to subpoenas, court orders, or regulatory inquiries. Corridor Safety may also use such data to protect the rights, privacy, safety, or property of Corridor Safety, its customers, end users, or the public — including by establishing or defending legal claims, conducting internal policy audits, enforcing these Terms, and taking measures to prevent, investigate, and deter fraud, cyberattacks, or other unauthorized, unethical, or illegal activity.

Changes to These Terms

Corridor Safety reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting within the Application or on the official Corridor Safety platform. Continued use of the Application following any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.

Corridor gathers Personal Information that identifies a person as an individual.

• This information is collected when registering for services, when submitting an inquiry or a request ticket for support or when registering to use forums Corridor may provide.
• IP Addresses are collected by Corridor and are considered Personal Information.
• E-mail contact information provided by visitors may be retained by Corridor and is considered Personal Information.

The provision of personal information by a Site visitor signifies agreement to the terms and conditions of this Policy and may in the following manners:

• Corridor may use personal information that has been provided to send information and promotional materials to users and visitors to the site.
• Corridor reserves the right to use IP and email addresses provided by visitors, and any other information, to respond with information regarding the use of the Site or services, other administrative information, or for marketing Corridor’s products and services.

Visitors that do not agree to this Policy should not provide any personal information. Corridor will retain personal information for the period required or permitted by law. If personal information about another person is provided, the visitor represents that the consent of the person whose personal information has been provided has been obtained.

Non-personal information is information obtained from its website that is aggregated by Corridor and may include demographic information, and any other information that does not reveal a person’s specific identity. Corridor may provide social, business, and communication channels (such as forums blogs, and other social media platforms and interactive services) from which users and visitors may post information and materials on Corridor’s Site to enable online sharing and collaboration. By virtue of the media, any information disclosed through such services becomes public information and may be available to visitors to the Site and to the general public. Corridor is not responsible or liable for the use of any personal information that is voluntarily provided or disclosed through social, business, and communication channels available on Corridor’s website. Corridor’s privacy practices are subject to change and without prior notice.

Corridor reserves the right to transfer any and all collected information (personal or otherwise) to an affiliate or a third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition it’s business.

Corridor’s Site contains links to other Internet websites. Corridor is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any such websites or the use IP addresses browser type or operating collected. If any personal information is provided on any third-party website, such transaction will occur on the third-party website and not Corridor’s. Such personal information will be collected by and controlled by the privacy policy of the third party.

Corridor cannot guarantee the security of its website servers, the means by which information is transmitted between computers and Corridor’s servers, or any information provided to Corridor or to any third party. All such information is provided at the visitor’s own risk. Individuals under the age of eighteen (18) should not provide personal information on Corridor’s website.

Corridor does not represent or warrant that its website, or any part, is appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction. Visitors choosing to access Corridor’s website do so of their own initiative and their own risk. All visitors to Corridor’s website are responsible for complying with all local laws, rules, and regulations. Corridor may limit the Site’s availability, in whole or in part, to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction at any time at its sole discretion. By providing any personal information, visitors consent to the transfer of personal information to other countries which may provide a different level of data security than the visitor’s country of residence.
